This is done because the camera’s two lenses overlap each other in what they capture. The X3 has a 1/4 20 mount on the bottom, so will attach to any standard selfie stick or tripod with that mount. If you’re attaching the X3 to a standard action camera finger mount, a tip for 360 camera users is to ensure the camera is positioned straight directly above the selfie stick. (If the camera is not straight on the selfie stick, you may see a little of the selfie stick in your video). This does not happen if you screw the selfie stick directly into the camera! Again, video stabilization is excellent. It really is amazing how I can do so much stuff (running, biking, snowboarding, etc) with the camera shaking and the final video comes out looking smooth.
Battery life is good and I usually can take the camera out for a day of shooting without having to recharge. This is probably because I take a lot of short videos. The camera specs say the battery will last 81 minutes when filming in 5.7k 30, and I think that is probably accurate. I think the best thing I can say about the battery life is that I don’t have battery anxiety from it. This is a good thing! There are a lot of other features I don’t use that will make this camera valuable to others; you can use it as a webcam and you can livestream your 360° footage!
I expect good quality from Insta360, and the camera delivers. Moreover, the X3 is feels solid and imo is Insta360’s best built camera yet! I don’t leave home without this camera.

que esto es de locos!)… Pero es que hace días adquirí la INSTA360 ACE PRO y OMG! esto cambia el juego, estoy tan impresionado que voy a vender algunas gopros para sustituirlas por otras ACE PRO.
El motivo es que la resolución es de locos, el software es mejor que el de gopro y más intuitivo, además tiene muchas más opciones ideales para creadores o cualquier usuario. La calidad de construcción es brutal, se siente super premium en la mano.
Una cosa importante para mi, (bueno y creo que para muchos usuarios ya que es donde más flojean las cámaras de acción) por la que me voy a pasar a la ACE PRO es que graba mucho mejor de noche que cualquier otra cámara, ojo! mucho mejor!
Podría hacer una reseña enorme pero creo que lo mejor que puedo decir es que SIN DUDA la recomiendo y merece la pena el precio por todo lo que ofrece, recomiendo ir a la web oficial y ver todas las especificaciones porque está a otro nivel (ahh no olvidemos que esta codesarrollada con Leica, ojo…)
Lo único que negativo que puedo decir es que yo las uso mucho en drones y es un poquito más pesada, pero bueno, entiendo que al 99% de la gente esto le dará igual ya que somos muy pocos los que volamos drones con esta cámara encima y no obstante la diferencia es muy pequeña, pero no se me ocurría otra cosa negativa que decir al menos hasta ahora…

One important thing for me, (well and I think for many users since this is where action cameras usually fall short) why I am going to switch to the ACE PRO is that it records much better at night than any other camera, beware! much better!
I could write a huge review but I think the best thing I can say is that without a doubt I recommend it and it is worth the price for everything it offers, I recommend going to the official website and seeing all the specifications because it is on another level (ohh let’s not forget that it is co-developed with Leica, be careful…)
The only negative thing I can say is that I use them a lot on drones and it is a little heavier, but well, I understand that 99% of people will not care because there are very few of us who fly drones with this camera on top and nevertheless the difference is very small, but I couldn’t think of any other negative thing to say at least for now…
