This high-speed signal processor analyzes 400,000 images simultaneously
A team of global scientists, led by Professor David Moss from Swinburne University of Technology, has introduced an ultra-high speed signal processor which can analyze a staggering 400,000 real-time video images at the same time.
It can also perform 34 different activities at the same time, like finding the edges of objects, making edges clearer, and fixing blurriness in motion.
Processing 400,000 videos concurrently
Meeting the demands of real-time processing for large amounts of information poses challenges in terms of processing speed and energy consumption, especially with traditional electrical signal processing technologies facing limitations.
