Brianna Causey of Somerville accused of sending obscene material to child
MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) – Morgan County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Somerville woman for distributing obscene material to a child.
Brianna Causey is accused of sending over 5,000 explicit photos, videos and messages to that boy over a three-week span in late December and early January, according to our media partners at the Decatur Daily.
Court documents allege that Causey and the child also talked on the phone 35 times over that span, sometimes for as long as eight hours.
The Decatur Daily spoke with Causey on Tuesday, and she says she doesn’t remember the situation because she was drunk.
She has since posted bond.
